Benny Aboud

CEO

A life-long entrepreneur, Benzion Aboud brings over 20 years of experience as a retailer of multi-channel marketing of consumer products and services to his Saveology© brand. Launched in 2008, Saveology Deals lets consumers comparison shop and buy home services including cable, satellite television, internet, phone service, home security and warranties, moving services, technical support, and various financial and insurance products, among others. The company employs over 900 people in three state-of-the-art facilities in South Florida, New Jersey and Utah, and handles more than 450,000 calls and 250,000 sales each month.

Michael W. Wallace

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Wallace has spent 20 years as a financial executive in both public and private companies, as well as beginning his career in Public Accounting. Prior to joining Saveology.com, Mr. Wallace was the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of several private companies engaged in various industries including software development for the call center market, direct marketing, and medical diagnostic services. Mr. Wallace is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

During the years 2003 and 2004, Mr. Wallace was appointed as an Assistant Chief Accountant in the Securities and Exchange Commission's Division of Enforcement and member of the Commission’s Financial Fraud Task Force in Washington D.C. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Wallace was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Kellstrom Industries Inc., then a publicly traded company on the NASDAQ, operating in the aerospace services sector. Following graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Mr. Wallace began his career at KPMG LLP in the Firm's assurance practice, ultimately leaving the Firm as a Senior Manager.

 

Reid Shapiro

Executive Vice President

After graduating from Yeshiva Universitiy in New York, Reid Shapiro began a partnership with Benzion Aboud. Mr. Shapiro became a co-founder of Elephant Group, Inc., which began from an idea of a small cart in a mall. He grew the company into a major player in the retail circuit and oversaw 120 AT&T (Formerly Cingular) Wireless Store retail operations. When Saveology came into inception during late 2008, Reid made it his responsibility to have his Sales, Customer Service and Operations team, with more than 1,000 employees, operating at the highest caliber.

The company’s sales centers grew exponentially under his leadership as he pioneered Saveology’s own Tech Support Service. He brings an intense and irreplaceable energy with him every day to work and expects the same from his fellow executives. Mr. Shapiro’s innovativeness and confidence is what has brought him to sit on several Boards of Directors, including SSE/Florida Panthers Blueprint Advisory Board. Known through the office as the “Chief Rain Maker,” his newest frontier is digital marketing and social media. Since “entrepreneurship” runs through his veins Reid continues to open new doors and set new goals for himself and Saveology. Reid Shapiro is truly a leader to be followed and no challenge goes unmet with him on the team.

Joseph Bamira

PhD, Vice Chairman

Dr. Bamira brings 30+ years of financial experience to the organization. Prior to joining Elephant Group, Inc., Dr. Bamira served as President of Nicoma Industries where he designed and implemented policies and procedures, financial structures, and a corporate agenda.

Prior to Elephant Group, Dr. Bamira was the CEO of Shiloh Insurance; the largest privately held Insurance Company in Israel. Dr. Bamira served as a consultant to Israel Discount Bank, both in the U.S. and in Israel. Dr. Bamira earned his Doctorate in Business Administration at Columbia University.

Peter E Coloyan, Sr.

Director of Operations

Mr. Coloyan has, literally, a lifetime of travel sales, marketing, management and agency ownership experience. With a successful history of developing innovative strategies, Mr. Coloyan has consistently grown sales and market share for both storefront and online agencies since 1978, and has been involved in Internet marketing since 1994. Prior to joining Saveology Travel, Mr. Coloyan was a travel industry consultant from 2007-2012, developing proprietary agency marketing and sales models using current technologies focused on effective SEO and SMM, helping many agencies achieve growth during this difficult economic period, from newly formed entities to a 20 year old, $100+ million, multi-services travel company.

From 2000-2007, Coloyan launched and grew a host agency, Home Based Travel Agents, with a unique model of providing leads generated from its many web sites to its sales agents, and was acquired in 2007 by a public company. From 1988-2000, Mr. Coloyan launched, grew, and sold 8 travel agency locations in Massachusetts and Florida.

Prior to 1988, Mr. Coloyan worked in, managed, and eventually owned the family travel agency that had been established in 1955. Born in Switzerland, Mr. Coloyan has traveled to over 80 countries and has sailed on over 100 cruises.
